Registration for the 2008 Lawn Mower exchange Program is officially closed. However, we expect that 15-20% of the people who have registered for the program will not appear to exchange their mower. If you would like to be placed on a waiting list, complete the form below and we will contact you should a mower become available.
 
Conditions of the Lawn Mower Exchange Program
  1. The MOW DOWN Air Pollution Lawn Mower Exchange Program is available to San Luis Obispo County (SLO County) residents on a first come, first serve basis. Registrations made by individuals outside SLO County will be excluded from the registration process.
  2. The retail value of the Neuton Cordless electric mower is $399.00 plus tax. Through the Lawn Mower Exchange Program this Neuton Cordless electric mower is available to SLO county residents for $160.00. The additional cost will be covered by an air pollution grant provided through the San Luis Obispo County Air Pollution Control District (SLO APCD)
  3. The discount is limited to one mower per household. The rebate is not transferable, not redeemable as cash and can not be used in conjunction with other offers.
  4. A mower exchange program has been scheduled in three SLO County locations. Once registration is recorded, a letter of confirmation will be mailed to you with exchange program details.
  5. All gas powered mowers surrendered under the program are rendered inoperable and processed for materials recycling. They are not reused or reconditioned for re-sale.
  6. A surrendered gas mower can not be returned to its original owner.
  7. All products sold through MOW DOWN are covered by Neuton Lawn Mower Company’s parts and labor warranty terms of 2 years.
  8. Hosting MOW DOWN partners and the APCD accept no liability with respect to the equipment offered in the program and have no affiliation with Neuton Lawn Mower Company.
  9. After the event you will be sent a questionnaire regarding your satisfaction with the Lawn Mower Exchange Program and your new electric lawn mower.
