| As part of the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Clean Cities Program, all coalitions nationwide are required to submit an annual survey to illustrate the progress made to increase the number of alternative fuel vehicles (AFV) in their region. For the Central Coast Clean Cities Coalition (C5) our ongoing survey is critical to maintaining DOE "Clean City" designation. The survey information is also used by DOE to prepare a report to Congress, as required by the Energy Policy Act, to illustrate the success and benefits this program provides nationwide. | |
