The 2008 Drag-In was held on Saturday, Jan 26th at the Barona 1/8-mile Drag Strip. Gene Schudlich and Alex Bugrov headed down to witness EV racing history and chat with the vehicle builders and drivers.

The event highlights included AC Propulsion's eBox, the purpose-built SSI Racing cars, Thunderstruck Motorsports and Dennis Berube's S10 dragster. The eBox drove to the track and back while posting a couple of good runs; we spied it at the Romona Valley Inn Sunday morning, charging in the parking lot... in the pouring rain.
